NH NongHyup Bank’s Cheongju training center provided onboarding training for newly hired employees recruited in the second half of 2025 and held a completion ceremony, it said on Thursday.
The programme included identity training based on the "Nongsim Cheonsim" campaign, basic banking duties such as deposits, loans and foreign exchange, and ethics, compliance and accident prevention to build identity and job capabilities.
New employees who completed the programme will be assigned to branches from Jan. 12 to begin full-scale work.
CEO Kang Tae-young, in a special lecture held during the training period, urged new employees to have the attitude, mindset and sense of purpose needed, including pride as a Nonghyup employee and growth into a pi-shaped talent.
The bank has been actively creating jobs for young people based on social responsibility and hired 565 new employees, the largest number among banks as of the second half of 2025.
