Naver said on Sunday it is launching "Blogger Discovery Project: I Have a Blog" to newly spotlight blogs by famous people who are not well known to the public, and the records accumulated in them.

The project introduces celebrities who have consistently recorded a daily life different from the image familiar to the public through broadcasts, on stage and in stadiums, as well as bloggers who have covered in-depth content in their own fields such as food and the economy. The company plans to select 1 person each week over 12 weeks starting on Sunday and introduce why they started their blogs, their main content and aspects that can be seen only on their blogs.

The first featured blogger is rapper Nucksal. Besides his music and broadcast activities, he has steadily written posts capturing his daily life and thoughts and communicates with about 63,000 neighbors. In particular, he has drawn attention with content under the concept "Nucksal's Gap," portraying people around him through his own perspective.

After rapper Nucksal, Naver plans to sequentially unveil each week celebrities who have recorded their lives outside the stage and stadiums, as well as popular bloggers who have delved deeply into specific interests. A guessing event will also be held in which people try to deduce the next featured blogger based on hints.

Benefits have also been prepared for participants in the project. Through Oct. 11, people can join the event by adding a blogger featured in the project as a neighbor, scraping the introduction post to their own blog and leaving a verification comment. Naver will select 2,000 people who participate in the mission at least once and 800 people who participate at least three times, awarding Naver Pay 3,000 points and 5,000 points, respectively.

Han Jun (한준), leader overseeing Naver's user-generated content community, said, "Blogs hold a stack of diverse content that has yet to be discovered, from the candid daily lives of well-known figures to in-depth records by creators who have explored a single interest for a long time." He added, "Through this project, we expect bloggers who have been active consistently to meet more users, and users to gain an opportunity to discover new blogs and tastes."

He added, "Naver will continue to provide support in various ways so that the blog ecosystem, where new records and relationships continue, can carry on."
