Woori Financial Group's Woori Financial Future Foundation will support breakfast for elementary school students in Incheon who are at risk of missing meals. Local small business owners will take part in cooking and delivering the meals, in a format that aims to promote both child support and links to the local economy.

The Woori Financial Future Foundation said on July 15 it signed a business agreement on July 14 at the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education in Namdong district, Incheon, with the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education and World Vision to 추진 the 'Woori Child Hearty Breakfast' programme.

The programme was set up to provide balanced meals to elementary students who may skip breakfast and to support their school life.

The support targets about 200 children at risk of missing meals who attend 10 elementary schools in Incheon that run morning care. Support will start from the second semester.

Under the programme, small business owners near schools will cook breakfast meals and deliver them to schools, where students will eat on campus after arriving at school.

By institution, the Woori Financial Future Foundation will handle programme planning and funding support. The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education will be responsible for recruiting participating schools, administrative support and programme monitoring. World Vision will identify local small business owners, connect them with schools and handle programme operations such as hygiene management.
