Hana Securities is taking part in a project aimed at identifying roles suitable for people with disabilities and expanding the employment base.
Hana Securities said on Tuesday it was selected as a participating company in the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities-led 2026 leading-company strategic occupations job development program.
The program identifies and develops jobs suitable for people with disabilities and supports company-tailored consulting to help expand employment of people with disabilities. Hana Securities is the first financial-sector company to take part since the program began in 2023.
Hana Securities will receive company-tailored job development consulting over the next 6 months. It also plans to link job placement support services through a local branch under the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities to strengthen its employment base for people with disabilities.
Jeong Gi-hwan (정기환), head of Hana Securities' Management Support Group, said participation in the program would help expand jobs in the financial industry where young people with disabilities can fully use their capabilities. He added the company would continue to take the lead in expanding employment of people with disabilities and fostering an inclusive organisational culture.
