[DigitalToday reporter Ho-jung Lee] Krafton said on Thursday it will begin early access for its new PC game 'PUBG: Blindspot' (Blindspot), being developed by PUBG Studios, from 2 p.m. on Feb. 5. It will launch on Steam as a free-to-play title.

Blindspot is a 5-vs-5 team-based top-down PvP shooter. It features realistic military shooting and indoor-focused battlefields in a top-down view. The company said its realistic, fast-paced shooting controls offer immersion comparable to FPS games and deliver tense Close Quarters Battle tactics.

Krafton said the early access version improves UI and artwork quality compared with the existing demo. It also improves the completeness of the controls and strengthens overall tactical depth through balance adjustments, and was prepared as a build at a 'release-ready' level.

Blindspot producer Yang Seung-myung said early access was adopted to allow more gamers to directly participate in development. He said Krafton aims to complete Blindspot together with users by communicating closely through open development based on free-to-play.
