Jiranjigyo Soft said on Wednesday it has launched an "invisible watermark" feature for its endpoint security and data loss prevention (DLP) solution, OfficeKeeper, to strengthen security for printed materials.

Jiranjigyo Soft developed the feature in cooperation with Snaptag, a specialist in invisible watermark modules, and LI Tech, a printed material security company.

The company said the invisible watermark applied this time is based on Snaptag technology and works by inserting an invisible unique key into paper documents. It does not harm document readability. When printed materials are scanned with a dedicated app, the key contained in the watermark can be extracted immediately. This allows OfficeKeeper to check document information and leakage routes, enabling post-incident tracing.

Jiranjigyo Soft Chief Executive Park Seung-ae said the invisible watermark feature is the result of cooperation among security companies to provide customers with a strengthened data protection environment. Park said OfficeKeeper will continue technological innovation as a security partner that safely protects companies' core assets in response to a changing IT environment.
