Woori Bank is joining hands with the Seoul city government to support financial education and financial counselling for young people.
Woori Bank said on June 24 it signed a business agreement with Seoul on June 23 at the Korea Press Center to strengthen young people’s economic and financial capabilities.
The agreement was 추진 in connection with Seoul’s flagship youth asset-building support project, Seoul Young Tech. Any young person aged 19 to 39 living in Seoul can take part.
Woori Bank and Seoul will cooperate under the agreement in jointly running youth financial education programmes, jointly developing economic and financial content for youth asset-building and retirement preparation, promoting youth financial education policies and identifying best practices.
Yoon Seok-in (윤석인), deputy head of Woori Bank’s Consumer Protection Department, said, "Based on the expertise and experience Woori Bank has built up in the financial field, we will actively support young people so they can form sound financial habits and manage their assets systematically."
