Smilegate Hope Studio said on Wednesday it completed the donation campaign "2026 Super Speedrun Marathon" with Bada Games on Jan. 4.

The campaign ran from Dec. 30 to Jan. 4 to support wish fulfillment for children with rare diseases. Hosted by Bada Games with Hope Studio as a partner, the event was a donation drive using a speedrun format, in which players clear games in the shortest time.

An offline event at All That Mind in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul drew a total of 30 gamers. They played 57 titles including "Clair Obscur: Expedition 33," "Diablo II: Resurrected" and "Stellar Blade."

The broadcast, streamed on the game streaming platform Chzzk, recorded 83,394 cumulative viewers. Total viewing time reached 41,991 hours, and peak concurrent viewership was tallied at 943.

The interest translated into donations. A total of 1,454 gamers and viewers joined the campaign, raising about 26 million won. Hope Studio plans to deliver the full amount to Korea Make-A-Wish without deducting operating costs, for use as activities to grant wishes to the children.

Im Bada, chief executive of Bada Games, said, "The Hope Studio platform has a simple structure and reward elements that allow gamers to participate without 부담." He added, "We will continue to work with Hope Studio so that passion for games can expand into social value."

Kwon Yeonju, a director at Hope Studio, said, "This is an example of implementing a structure in which the game-playing and viewing experience is delivered as real hope to children." She stressed, "We will develop it into a platform where more game companies and users can enjoyably participate in solving social problems."
