JiranSoft, provider of the OfficeKeeper data loss prevention solution, held the 22nd security seminar on incident response for security managers on Nov. 27 at Posco Tower Yeoksam.
The seminar featured four sessions offering information needed to build response and prevention strategies for real incidents.
Huh Young-il, head of Stealthmore, introduced the state and workings of the dark web, which he described as a rising base for cybercrime. Yang Hyung-cho, senior researcher at the Korea Internet and Security Agency, presented guidance for fast and accurate organisational responses when cyberattacks or security incidents occur.
JiranSoft consultant Park Un-hwan stressed that preventing security incidents depends on blocking data leaks and outlined how the company’s OfficeKeeper DLP solution protects corporate information assets.
JiranSoft CEO Park Seung-ae said the company has sought for ten years through annual seminars to understand customer concerns in a changing security environment and to offer practical solutions. She said the company will continue working to strengthen customers’ security environments through OfficeKeeper.
