Solum said on Thursday it has obtained ISO 37001 certification for an anti-bribery management system from the International Organization for Standardization. ISO 37001 is an international standard that evaluates whether a company has systems in place to identify in advance and prevent and control corruption risks that may arise during operations.
Solum said the audit recognized its management capabilities across all areas, from establishing anti-bribery policies to providing ethics training for employees and building a real-time monitoring system.
The company appointed an anti-bribery compliance officer to strengthen its companywide anti-corruption system. It conducts regular ethics management training for all employees and upgraded processes to identify and control corruption risks. It stressed that it has helped establish a culture of integrity within the organization.
Solum plans to use the certification in its electronic shelf label (ESL) business and its electric vehicle (EV) charging module and automotive electronics parts businesses. Compliance with ESG management and ethical guidelines across global supply chains has become a required condition.
Solum recently won the overall grand prize at the 2025 K-ESG Management Awards. It maintains certifications for environmental management (ISO 14001) and occupational health and safety management (ISO 45001). It plans to also pursue an integrated certification for the compliance management system (ISO 37301) to complete a governance system aligned with global standards.
A Solum official said the certification shows that all of Solum's management activities are being run under transparent and objective standards. The official said the company will continue to review internal management systems to block corruption risks in advance and will do its best to establish advanced governance in order to make a leap into a "global top-tier company."
