Trase Finance raised $32 million in a Series A funding round.
Cointelegraph reported on June 17 that the round was led by CoinFund, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Jump Capital, Paxos and HOF Capital.
Trase Finance provides banking connectivity, foreign exchange and stablecoin settlement infrastructure for cross-border payments in Latin America. Its cumulative processed transaction volume has exceeded $10 billion. It plans to use the funds to expand beyond Latin America into the United States and Asia-Pacific markets.
Trase Finance raised $4.3 million in a seed round led by HOF Capital in 2022. Circle Ventures and Mantis VC participated at the time, and HOF Capital invested again in the Series A.
