AI company Anthropic is seeking to raise $10 billion in a new funding round at a $350 billion valuation, TechCrunch reported on Tuesday.
Coatue Management and Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC are leading the round, and a final agreement is expected to be completed within weeks, the report said. It is separate from a $15 billion investment it recently received from Nvidia and Microsoft.
Anthropic raised $13 billion in a Series F round at a $183 billion valuation 3 months ago. That implies its valuation has doubled in 3 months. That is seen as driven by efforts to strengthen AI developer tools such as Claude Code and expand market share.
Anthropic is preparing an AI initial public offering, and rival OpenAI is also pursuing an additional $100 billion fundraising. OpenAI recently raised $10 billion at a $750 billion valuation.
