Korea Communications Agency (KCA) said on Tuesday it has produced and distributed a "Deep Research Guidebook for Workplace Use" that explains how to use deep analysis functions offered by generative AI.

The guidebook introduces deep analysis functions provided by major generative AI services such as OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini and presents effective ways to use them.

It is structured around a range of use cases, including research on policy materials, drafting report outlines and supporting analytical work. It also includes guidance on writing prompts to improve the accuracy of answers produced through deep research.

It introduces issues to note when using generative AI, including privacy and security, AI ethics, and model bias and the creation of false information. It also includes the status of domestic large language models.

KCA President Sang-hoon Lee said that using deep research is an important process for gaining insights for workplace innovation. He said he hopes the guidebook will broaden employees' AI capabilities and serve as useful reference material for related public institutions and the public.
