AI and data-based HR tech platform JobKorea is expanding offline networking under its “Re:startup” approach.
The company said that last year it ran tailored networking programs by role and audience, including the Hreka HR conference, after-work meetups, after-work resume sessions, Dreams Class and open mentoring.
It is also expanding small-group, two-way networking for office workers and job seekers. Alongside external networking, JobKorea has also reorganised its internal communication methods to focus on execution. It shares AI service ideas and execution tasks through in-house hackathons and regular town halls, strengthening a culture of fast decision-making and experimentation, the company said.
Marking its 30th anniversary this year, JobKorea plans to roll out a series of online and offline programmes on hiring and careers, starting with a large offline conference to share its AI vision and strategy. It aims to accelerate a new hiring experience that combines AI technology with connections between people.
Chief Executive Yoon Hyun-joon said, “Offline networking is not an alternative to AI hiring, but the final link that turns choices suggested by AI into real decisions.” He added, “Based on the data and trust accumulated over 30 years, JobKorea will experiment again like a startup and build the next stage of the hiring experience.”
