Inshorts said on Jan. 6 it will expand in 2026 a 4K ultra-high-definition content project with Megabox based on its "AI Superscaler" solution.
Inshorts said its AI-based video restoration and upscaling technology supports extending the content life cycle by delivering 4K quality optimised for theatre screening environments across re-releases, remastering and works in various genres and formats. It said AI Superscaler helps improve 4K upscaling quality by advancing video super-resolution technology optimised for premium content.
Inshorts and Megabox plan in 2026 to present an expanded content lineup that reinterprets works in a wider range of genres and formats in 4K quality. It also is expanding collaboration with overseas platforms and global companies.
Kun-chang Lee, chief executive of Inshorts, said, "I am glad to be able to present high-quality content with Megabox in 2026 as well."
