Toss Place, a payments terminal and POS solutions unit of Viva Republica, provided practical training for aspiring entrepreneurs on payment environments and store operations. It also set up a demonstration space where participants could try payment terminals and POS solutions used in real stores, focusing on improving operating capabilities needed early in launching a business.

Toss Place said on Thursday it took part in the food service start-up training programme, Prep Academy, run by the Seoul Credit Guarantee Foundation.

The training for the first time included a payment demonstration space where participants could try Toss Place’s all-in-one payments terminal, Toss Front, and Face Pay. Participants reviewed payment methods used in real stores and practised payment processes using Toss Front and Toss POS.

The training was held for 48 aspiring entrepreneurs. Participants learned practical topics including customer service, store operating know-how, customer management and sales analysis needed in the early stage of starting a business.

A Toss Place official said, "In the early stages of starting a business, it is also important to understand the store operating environment." The official added, "We will continue various education and support for aspiring entrepreneurs."
