RSUPPORT, a B2B solutions company, said on Wednesday it will provide a free consulting service called “free consulting service to advance university innovation infrastructure” to universities nationwide to respond to the RISE and ANCHOR projects.

The consulting service focuses on supporting tailored IT infrastructure and space innovation according to each university’s project direction and operational tasks as they push ahead with RISE, a regional innovation-focused university support system, and ANCHOR, a regional growth talent development system.

The Ministry of Education recently expanded and reorganised the RISE project, a national initiative that supports university innovation as a driver of regional development as part of a balanced national growth strategy, into the ANCHOR project. The aim is for major universities in each region to work with local governments and companies to prevent an outflow of local talent and to serve as an “anchor” for regional revitalisation.

RSUPPORT said it plans to provide tailored consulting that university officials can refer to in the process of establishing project plans, reviewing budgets, setting the scope of infrastructure adoption and preparing plans for space utilisation.

Vice President Sang-joon Han (한상준), head of RSUPPORT’s domestic sales, said, “To strengthen universities’ competitiveness and function as a driver of regional innovation through the RISE and ANCHOR projects, what is needed is not simple facility expansion but an organic and sustainable design of the digital environment and physical space.” He added, “RSUPPORT will support infrastructure design and operational measures optimised for the direction of region-specific RISE projects through various remote solutions and space solutions that apply AI technologies.”
