SK Telecom will expand and revamp its “T long-term customer program” for customers who have stayed with the company for more than 10 years. It will offer a range of food experiences through invitation events and increase data benefits.

SKT said on Wednesday it will integrate invitation events for the T long-term customer program under “T Long-term Customer Day” and showcase various events in food, culture and entertainment through year-end.

SKT will focus on offering benefits tailored to individual tastes and lifestyles. Through year-end, it will invite about 10,000 long-term customers and companions to T Long-term Customer Day events. Planned events include food events with hotel restaurants nationwide, invitations to singer Seung-chul Lee (이승철) for a KBS Chuseok special performance, a late-night private event at Lotte World and a group viewing of the musical “Chicago.”

SKT has been accepting entries for its food event, “Table Day,” since June 8. This year, it will invite a total of 1,200 people, including long-term customers who have been with SKT for more than 10 years and 1 companion, in 5 cities nationwide. Events will be held sequentially from late July to mid-August at well-known hotels in five cities: Vista Walkerhill Seoul, Daegu Marriott Hotel, Signiel Busan, Holiday Inn Gwangju and Hotel Onoma Daejeon.

In particular, the Seoul event will feature chefs Hyun-seok Choi (최현석) and Hee-eun Kim (김희은), who will present a special menu. Events in Daegu, Busan, Gwangju and Daejeon will rent hotel restaurants and banquet halls representing each region and provide premium buffet meals.

Customers who want to take part can apply through the event page on the T Membership app and QR codes at T World stores nationwide until June 30. They can apply up to 2 times, once online and once in stores. Winners will be notified individually on July 8.

SKT will also expand its “T long-term customer data” benefit from July 1. Its “subscription anniversary data,” which provides additional data equivalent to the years of subscription in the month of subscription, will expand eligible customers from those with at least 5 years of service to those with at least 2 years, and it will abolish the cap on data provided of 30GB.

Refill coupons, which allow customers to top up an additional amount equal to the data provided under their plan, will be issued in the subscription month along with subscription anniversary data after the revamp, instead of in the month after the subscription date.

Jae-woong Yoon (윤재웅), head of SKT’s Product & Brand Division, said the company plans to continue expanding programs that can give special memories to customers who have stayed with SKT for a long time. He added that SKT will also raise satisfaction among long-term customers through various invitation programs.
