[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Dario Amodei (다리오 아모데이), CEO of Anthropic, unveiled a policy framework that would allow Americans to secure a financial stake in profits generated by the AI industry.

On June 10 (local time), foreign media reports including The Information said Amodei proposed creating capital accounts for newborns and granting them shares in AI companies, similar to a Trump Account program.

Anthropic's proposal would be expanded to include adults newly entering the labor market and workers in existing industries who could lose jobs to AI.

The proposal comes shortly after President Trump said he plans to meet AI leaders to discuss a plan for the government to acquire stakes in AI companies.

OpenAI also proposed in April a public wealth fund based on "diversified long-term assets". But neither Anthropic nor OpenAI specified the amount of funding or the size of equity stakes that AI companies would provide.
