Kim Kyung-jin, chairman of Dell Technologies Korea, and Yoo Sang-mo, president.

Dell Technologies said on Tuesday it will reorganise its South Korean unit, appointing Kim Kyung-jin (김경진), head of the local business, as chairman and naming Vice President Yoo Sang-mo (유상모) as president.

Kim has led Dell Technologies’ business growth in South Korea for more than 20 years. He joined the company in 1999 as a director in the South Korea sales strategy programme division, and later led South Korea marketing and the Asia-Pacific sales strategy programme. He also served as a senior vice president at headquarters and as head of Dell Technologies Korea.

Yoo has led a range of business areas since joining the company in 2000, spanning customer and product sales, market and product development, and partner business. He served as head of South Korea marketing in 2012 and led storage sales in 2014. After leading sales for telecommunications, manufacturing and services customer groups in 2023, he headed the Infrastructure Solutions Group business division from 2024 until recently.

The new president will continue to drive business growth at Dell Technologies Korea while delivering tangible value to customers and partners in line with a rapidly changing market environment.

Dell Technologies plans to deliver tangible results through the leadership reshuffle in a rapidly changing technology environment. It said it will continue to support the innovation journeys of domestic companies and public institutions across data, artificial intelligence, cloud and infrastructure capabilities, and expand long-term growth and collaboration opportunities in the South Korean market.
