Bluetooth SIG (Special Interest Group), a nonprofit organisation that manages and oversees the Bluetooth technology standard, said on Monday it has unveiled a Bluetooth market dashboard that tracks Bluetooth market growth and adoption trends.
Bluetooth SIG said the dashboard, an expanded version of its annual report, provides data on Bluetooth device shipments, growth trends and market outlook.
Companies can use it to better understand the status of technology adoption, identify new growth opportunities, and apply it to decision-making needed for product and development, investment, and communication strategy planning.
According to the latest outlook included in the dashboard, global Bluetooth device shipments are expected to reach about 6 billion units in 2026, with annual shipments projected to exceed 8 billion units in 2030.
Bluetooth SIG said the growth continues to be driven by key platform devices such as smartphones, PCs and tablets, while expansion of wireless audio and wearable ecosystems also supports growth.
