[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Global open-source solutions company Red Hat said on Tuesday it will expand cooperation with NVIDIA to reflect enterprise AI advances and rack-scale AI innovation.
As part of the cooperation, Red Hat will offer Red Hat Enterprise Linux for NVIDIA. The product is optimised for the NVIDIA Rubin platform.
Matt Hicks, Red Hat president and CEO, said, "NVIDIA’s architecture innovation has made AI an essential technology and proved that the computing stack will define the future of industry." He said, "To respond to this change at the time of release, Red Hat and NVIDIA plan to provide Day 0 support for the latest NVIDIA architecture across Red Hat’s hybrid cloud and AI portfolio. The two companies are accelerating next-generation enterprise AI through open-source capabilities."
