Trillion Labs said on June 8 it will develop 'Industrial World Models' for AI factories based on Nvidia Omniverse libraries and the Nvidia Nemotron open model.

Industrial world models help AI understand and simulate complex industrial environments such as AI data centres and power plants to optimise operations.

Trillion Labs is building an intelligence layer for next-generation AI factories by using Nvidia Omniverse physics-based simulation technology and Nvidia Nemotron reasoning capabilities. It plans to enable AI to predict in advance the outcomes of specific decisions or operating methods and support operators' decision-making.

Trillion Labs has been developing foundation models, including large language models and vision-language models, from scratch, and has recently expanded into world model research that understands physical environments.

Trillion Labs aims to combine its foundation model technology with the Nvidia AI factory, digital twin and Physical AI ecosystems through the development of industrial world models and to open up a new field of industrial intelligence in the AI infrastructure market.

Jae-min Shin (신재민), chief executive of Trillion Labs, said, "The next stage of AI is to understand and reason about the real world beyond language," and added, "Through industrial world models, we will build a new industrial intelligence foundation that understands and optimises core infrastructure."
