KT shared entrepreneurship needed in the artificial intelligence (AI) era and insights on AI transformation (AX) with future talent.
KT said on Saturday that Park Sang-won (박상원), head of KT’s AX business division, delivered a special lecture on June 5 at the FKI Tower Conference Center in Yeouido, Seoul, as part of the Korea Enterprises Federation’s Future Elite Training Programme (EIC). The topic was “People who design opportunities in the AI era – AI entrepreneurship required in industrial settings.”
The lecture, aimed at about 120 university students, was organised by the Korea Enterprises Federation to foster a spirit of challenge, an innovative mindset and entrepreneurship among those expected to lead future industries.
Park explained changes in industrial structures in the AI era, how companies respond and the capabilities required of future talent. “The number of people who use AI well keeps increasing, but there are still too few who can identify problems in industry and turn them into new opportunities,” he said. “Going forward, the value of talent that discovers problems, designs opportunities and creates value through execution will grow further,” he added.
During a Q&A session after the lecture, questions continued on career directions in the AI era, AX cases from the field and the type of talent companies want. Participants said the lecture was a big help in exploring career paths.
A KT official said the lecture was a venue to share industrial changes and entrepreneurship in the AI era. The official added that KT will continue to contribute to nurturing future talent and building an industrial innovation ecosystem based on AX field experience.
