Woori Bank will serve as the main bank for the Korea Social Welfare Mutual Aid Association. It plans to expand financial support for social welfare workers.
Woori Bank said on Wednesday it signed a "main bank" business agreement with the Korea Social Welfare Mutual Aid Association.
Under the agreement, Woori Bank will exclusively operate the association's cash management system for the next 3 years. It plans to support stable fund operations and provide financial products and preferential benefits for social welfare workers.
The two organisations also agreed to pursue the development of tailored financial services that reflect demand in the social welfare field, as well as joint social contribution activities.
Cho Se-hyung (조세형), head of Woori Bank's Institutional Group, said, "We will continue to provide tailored financial services and support so that social welfare workers can enjoy practical financial benefits."
