SK Telecom said on June 4 it has joined Anthropic's security cooperation group, Project Glasswing.
Project Glasswing is an international cooperation framework in which leading global companies jointly build systems to verify and respond to cyber vulnerabilities based on Anthropic's AI model, Claude Mythos. SKT secured early access to Claude Mythos and will strengthen security for core infrastructure and services by pre-emptively defending against risk factors.
SKT said, "Based on this cooperation, we will contribute to strengthening South Korea's digital security," adding, "We are testing in accordance with strict regulations and management guidelines so that new technologies can be used safely."
Project Glasswing also includes the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are also reported to have joined Glasswing.
