KT Millie's Library is rolling out subscription discounts for the public and a reading-completion campaign to encourage reading culture.

KT Millie's Library said on June 1 it is joining the '2026 Reading Korea' campaign and will work to spread reading culture. The campaign was planned to build thinking skills in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and to promote the joy of reading in everyday life. Millie's Library prepared a promotion to lower barriers to reading as 'Culture Wednesday' has been expanded since April this year.

Starting June 3, it will run a promotion called "Subscribe now for the best taste! Wednesday half-price discount" that discounts the monthly regular subscription fee every first Wednesday of the month. Any user who is not subscribed to Millie's Library can get 50 percent off the first month's subscription fee when paying on the web.

It will also run the "Jecheol Reading Challenge," open to all members. Under the slogan, "Every Wednesday, a day to open seasonal books with Millie," participants complete books selected by Millie's Library, one each week to match the season.

In June, a total of 4 books will be featured over the month, including "Summer Is Just a Season" by writer Kim Seo-hae, "An Experiment in Accurate Love" by critic Shin Hyung-chul, and "The 100 Millionth Summer" by writer Cheong Ye. All participants who successfully finish the books will receive a digital badge, and 100 people will be selected by drawing to receive additional physical goods.

Millie's Library said it plans to lower barriers to entry for its reading service through this nationwide participation campaign and continue support so users can experience reading without 부담.

Lee Sung-ho (이성호), head of Millie's Library's Reading Party division, said, "Through this 'Reading Korea' campaign, we planned this promotion and campaign to try to create reading habits for the entire nation." He said it will continue to do its best to raise reading rates and broaden the base of readers, and help spread a culture of reading in everyday life.
