Berriz, a global K-culture fan platform operated by Kakao Entertainment, said on Tuesday it has opened an official merchandise store for rookie boy group AHOF.
AHOF is a nine-member boy group consisting of Steven, Seo Jeong-woo, Cha Woong-gi, Zhang Shuai-bo, Park Han, JL, Park Ju-won, Zuen and Daisuke. The group drew attention last July after its debut album "WHO WE ARE" ranked fifth in first-week sales among debut releases by boy groups and won three music show trophies.
The official merchandise newly listed on Berriz Shop was planned and produced directly by Kakao Entertainment to reflect AHOF’s narrative and universe. The lineup includes about 10 items, such as an official light stick, member key rings, ball caps and photo card holders.
The goods sold out during on-site sales at AHOF’s first fan concert held from Jan. 3 to 4, drawing a strong response from fans. From Tuesday, they are available exclusively online through Berriz Shop.
Berriz will run an event through Jan. 12 to mark the store opening. It plans to give away Polaroid photos with the members’ handwritten signatures to selected customers who buy official merchandise.
Berriz, operated by Kakao Entertainment, also runs fan communities and stores for various rookie artists including Kiki, I:DIT, YOUNG POSSE and NOWZ, strengthening its role as a communication channel linking next-generation K-pop rookies with global fans.
