Cafe24 is supplying a premium commerce service to global beauty brand Medicube. Cafe24 said on May 29 that APR’s beauty brand Medicube adopted “Cafe24 PRO” to strengthen its direct-to-consumer competitiveness centred on its own online store. Cafe24 PRO is a service that provides integrated support across the entire e-commerce process, from shopping mall setup to marketing and customer management.
Medicube is APR’s flagship brand, spanning functional skincare and the beauty device brand AGE-R. Backed by a home-care solution that combines devices and skincare, it achieved 1.4 trillion won in sales for a single brand within 10 years of its launch. Since the brand’s early launch in 2016, Medicube has pursued a D2C business centred on its Cafe24-based online store. It has continued its partnership with Cafe24 across online commerce, including site setup and operation, payments, delivery and marketing.
The adoption of Cafe24 PRO is a strategic choice to boost the competitiveness of its online store in line with the brand’s growth, Cafe24 said. It said the goal is to provide a smoother shopping environment for visitors by expanding search-based customer inflow and improving the purchasing experience.
Cafe24 PRO supports key commerce areas, including overall operations such as online store setup, design and SEO, marketing and channel expansion based on coupons, CRM and marketplace integrations, and customer service management covering FAQs, notifications and customer response processes. It allows operation of an online store and business expansion without a separate specialised organisation.
Cafe24 CEO Lee Jae-seok (이재석) said, “Medicube is a representative beauty brand that has grown rapidly based on a D2C strategy centred on its own online store.” He said, “Through this PRO adoption, we expect it will further enhance the customer experience and operational completeness and strengthen the competitiveness of its online store.”
