Finda will join hands with the Gwanak Small and Medium Venture Promotion Agency to support financial management for startups based in Gwanak S Valley.

Finda said on May 28 it signed a memorandum of understanding with the agency to improve the efficiency of financial and operational management at Gwanak S Valley startups and to build a digital-based decision-making environment.

The agreement was designed to support the stable growth of companies based in Gwanak S Valley and energise the local innovation ecosystem, drawing on Finda's financial technology and data capabilities.

Gwanak S Valley is Gwanak-gu's flagship startup support project, created on the basis of Seoul National University's talent and technological capabilities and youth infrastructure. It aims to build a global startup hub linked to universities, businesses and the local community.

Under the agreement, the two sides plan to cooperate across several areas, including creating an environment for startup financial management and data-driven management, jointly planning and operating education, seminars and networking programmes for sustainable growth, and joint online and offline promotion.

Finda will support early-stage companies' difficulties that arise in fund execution and fundraising through its AI financial platform for startups, Finda Unicorn. It also plans to provide a proactive risk management system using financial technology and big data.

Jun-hak Kim (김준학), head of the Gwanak Small and Medium Venture Promotion Agency, said, "Through cooperation with Finda, startups will be able to develop more systematic financial management capabilities." He added, "We will build a rational digital-based decision-making environment to support the stable growth of promising companies."

Hong-min Park (박홍민), Finda's CEO, said, "We will expand support for digital solutions so startups can reduce the burden of financial management and focus on the essence of their business."
