[DigitalToday reporter Daegeon Seok] Pyeonanhan Idong, a unit of V.CNC subsidiary and an operator under mobility platform Tada, ranked first overall in Seoul’s 2025 management and service evaluation of taxi companies, it said on Tuesday.
Seoul publishes results each year after a comprehensive assessment of taxi companies, including safe driving, treatment of transport workers, complaint management and service improvement efforts. Pyeonanhan Idong received evenly distributed scores across overall operating indicators.
Pyeonanhan Idong Next, another in-house transport unit evaluated at the same time, ranked third, placing both Tada in-house transport units in the top group. Pyeonanhan Idong runs Mobility Academy, the only training institution among taxi operators to receive approval from Seoul for premium taxi education. It said drivers are required to complete the course before operating the premium Next service.
The company said this has lowered accident rates and enabled ongoing management of service quality. Satisfaction ratings conducted after customers exit also remained stable. Over the past 3 months on average, the share of negative ratings was 0.46 percent of total trips. It also operates an internal monitoring system to manage customer experience.
V.CNC introduced a ride-hailing service in 2018 using 11-seat vans that does not refuse passengers. It currently offers a taxi-hailing service based on taxi driver licences. As of 2024, cumulative subscribers totalled 3.3 million.
A Tada official said, "It is the result of steadily working to directly manage overall taxi operations through in-house transport units and to improve drivers' working conditions and service quality." The official added, "As it has developed into Seoul’s evaluation system, we will continue to build a mobility service that both users and drivers can trust through taxi operations centred on safety and service quality."
