Global HR platform Remote said on May 27 that its global payroll solution grew 300 percent last year from a year earlier and its annual recurring revenue (ARR) reached $300 million. It also posted positive cash flow.

Remote provides HR services for corporate global hiring and workforce management. It has its own local entities in more than 100 countries and supports employer of record (EOR), global payroll and contractor management. Customers include Anthropic, KFC and Datadog, and HR platforms such as Workday, BambooHR and Personio are also working with Remote to expand global hiring services, the company said.

It is expanding the scope of access so that various parties, including partners, customers, developers and AI agents, can use its infrastructure.

Remote said Remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) allows AI agents to access payroll, contract and compliance data and organisational structures without separate API keys or custom integrations. It also offers a custom system design and build service called "Remote Build".

Remote CEO and co-founder Job van der Voort (욥 반 더 부르트) said, "The 300 percent growth was possible thanks to our continued build-out of infrastructure and compliance capabilities to provide stable and accurate solutions in every country." He said, "Our capability to build global hiring and workforce management infrastructure has now gone beyond an operational factor and become a core strategic foundation."
