AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Monday it will cooperate with Sungkonghoe University on training AI and cloud talent.

The agreement was pursued to foster practical talent needed in the era of digital transformation by linking Sungkonghoe University’s education and research capabilities with MegazoneCloud’s technological capabilities in AI and cloud.

The two sides will cooperate on joint research in AI, cloud and big data, developing industry demand-based curricula, operating field training and internship programmes, and 추진 digital projects linked to local communities.

To that end, MegazoneCloud will support the development of educational content and provide technical advice based on its capabilities in AI and cloud and its experience carrying out projects. It plans to cooperate so students can experience AI and cloud technologies used in real corporate environments and the process of carrying out projects through field training and internship programmes.

Sungkonghoe University will be responsible for developing curricula in digital innovation fields such as AI, cloud and big data. Based on its education and research infrastructure, it plans to identify joint research projects and 추진 digital projects linked to solving local community issues.

MegazoneCloud Chairman Ju-wan Lee (이주완) said, "As AI rapidly changes work methods and service structures across industries, the importance of practical talent that can apply AI technology to real sites is growing." He added, "Together with Sungkonghoe University, we will naturally expand AI use experience into the curriculum and build a cooperation model that helps students meaningfully strengthen AI capabilities required in industrial sites."
