Trustay said on May 21 it has opened a “local elections” service on its housing platform Knocktown ahead of the ninth nationwide local elections on June 3, allowing users to view customised election information by region at a glance.
Users can check candidate information by region, key pledges, polling station location lookup, early voting and election-day schedules, and winners within the Knocktown app without additional verification. When using existing portals, users can find their polling station immediately simply by accessing the service, without the residence verification procedure needed in the process of finding the polling station where they vote.
Before voting, users can view key pledges for each candidate through AI summaries of local candidates’ pledges and major career histories. Users can also check early voting stations based on their residence in line with early voting on May 29 and 30. Polling stations for election day on May 25 and election results after election day on June 3 are to be updated sequentially.
Lee Seung-oh (이승오), Trustay’s CEO, said, “As local elections are closely connected to residents’ lives, the Knocktown housing platform is a region-based platform where users can check the election information they need most quickly and accurately.” He added, “We plan to continue expanding public and daily life-oriented services that connect regions and residents and enhance public value and the value of regional coexistence.”
