Samsung Securities' official YouTube channel has become the first among domestic financial companies to surpass 3 million subscribers.
Samsung Securities said on May 19 that as of May 12 its official YouTube channel had topped 3 million subscribers. The channel now averages more than 1,325,000 views a week and produces and uploads about 1,500 videos a year.
Samsung Securities cited the early adoption of AI technologies, including generative AI, in its content production process as the driver of its YouTube growth.
It said it used AI-based video production and editing and visual implementation to raise both production efficiency and content quality. It drew investor interest by presenting video content in formats including an AI analyst as well as films, dramas and music videos.
Its sci-fi film-style advertising video, "Scenes One Move," released in 2025, surpassed 3 million views as of May 18.
Other videos, including the trot song "Upward Life" using its own audio, the K-pop-style "Lion Boys" and "You Believed in Me," a ballad music video built around testamentary trust services, recorded views ranging from several hundred thousand to more than 1 million.
Its "ISA Investment User Manual" series released in the first half of this year saw every episode exceed 100,000 views as of May 18. Short-form videos themed on ISA also drew attention.
A Samsung Securities official said, "We have tried new formats to convey finance in an easy and fun way," adding, "We will continue to lead trends in the financial content market."
