Hospitality technology company H2O Hospitality (H2O) said on Tuesday it has signed a contract with Indonesia’s property brokerage platform Mamikos to supply smart check-in and digital door lock solutions.

Mamikos, founded in 2015, is an Indonesian property platform that provides brokerage services focused on Indonesia’s Kos (studio or officetel-style residences) rental market. More than 3 million Kos rooms and over 200,000 properties are registered on Mamikos across more than 150 cities nationwide.

Under the contract, H2O plans to introduce a smart check-in system and digital door locks in stages to about 17,000 Kos residences that Mamikos manages under direct consignment. Based on data such as tenant stay duration and entry patterns, it plans to expand personalised services such as automated maintenance fee payments, cleaning services and reservations for use of ancillary facilities.

Seungjun Oh, head of global business at H2O, said, “We want to prove how significantly smart access solutions can innovate the real estate business and create new value.” He said, “We will create new market opportunities by applying H2O’s proven technology to Indonesia’s dynamic rental market.”
