[DigitalToday reporter Ho-jung Lee] Nexon is recruiting offline attendees for the country's largest game knowledge-sharing event, the Nexon Developer Conference (NDC), and will share the latest development know-how centered on artificial intelligence (AI).

Nexon said on May 11 it will hold NDC 2026 for three days from June 16 to 18 around its Pangyo headquarters in Seongnam and recruit attendees on a first-come, first-served basis via its official website from May 19 to 21.

Marking its 19th edition, the event will run 51 presentation sessions spanning game development, including game planning, production and programming. Speakers include employees from major companies such as Nexon affiliates as well as Krafton, Roblox, NC AI, Google DeepMind and Snowflake. Embark Studios, the developer of the global hit "ARC Raiders", will give 3 talks and present cases of applying AI and machine learning technologies.

This year, talks in the AI field have been significantly expanded, with a concentrated focus on the latest examples and practical know-how applied to game development. It will also offer 8 panel-style talks in which industry experts exchange views by topic.

Key panel sessions include "Developing Different Games at the Same Time" with Nexon Games CEO Yong-hyun Park (박용현) and GameGeneration editor-in-chief Kyung-hyuk Lee (이경혁), "The AX Journey of Nexon and Krafton" with Nexon group head Deok-won Kang (강덕원), Krafton VP Kyung-young Lim (임경영) and Kyung Hee University professor Sang-kyun Kim (김상균), and "Making the Game I Wanted to Play" with Nexon Games division head Yong-ha Kim (김용하), Project Moon CEO Ji-hoon Kim (김지훈) and This Is Game editor-in-chief Woo-chul Jung (정우철).

During the event, an exhibition will be held at Nexon's headquarters featuring more than 150 pieces of 2D and 3D game artwork and sound. An outdoor event zone will run mini-games using Nexon's flagship intellectual property (IP), hands-on booths and a goods giveaway event.
