Amazon Web Services, or AWS, said on Monday that Proteintech, a global company in antibody and life sciences solutions, has selected AWS as its primary cloud provider.

Proteintech built an AI antibody assistant called Able within 6 months using AWS computing, container, database and analytics services. The tool provides researchers with product information and technical support.

Proteintech's core business includes producing and selling antibodies, nanobodies, proteins, kits and other reagents, and serving customers at academic institutions and pharmaceutical companies worldwide through proteomics, cell culture and current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) biomanufacturing applications. Proteintech has migrated 85 percent of its workloads to AWS and is using AWS infrastructure to build an integrated operating environment between its headquarters and global subsidiaries. It is accelerating global business deployment and expansion.
