SK Shieldus physical security brand ADT Caps carried out on-site safety prevention activities linked to Safety Inspection Day, a safety culture campaign held on the 4th of each month under the Framework Act on Disaster and Safety Management.
ADT Caps recently visited a 13-storey construction site in Gasan-dong, Seoul, to conduct safety inspections. Shin Woo-cheol (신우철), chief safety and health officer (CSPO), and other relevant staff took part in the inspection.
ADT Caps checked major risk factors including security infrastructure such as access control systems, fall and trip hazards, the installation status of structures, workers' conditions, and compliance with safety rules.
ADT Caps is also pushing to upgrade its companywide safety management system alongside on-site inspections. It is strengthening巡回 inspections by regional safety managers and on-site training, and has clarified roles by establishing activity guidelines. It has also refined its management system by reflecting inspection and training activities in evaluations, and is strengthening compliance with safety rules across key physical security operations including customer visits, after-sales service and emergency dispatches, the company side said.
Shin said the key to preventing accidents is thorough compliance with rules at worksites and a management system that supports it. He said the company will continue to strengthen a prevention-focused safety culture based on the voluntary participation of its staff.
