AhnLab said on April 27 it posted first-quarter consolidated revenue of 59.1 billion won and operating profit of 1.9 billion won, based on interim results.
On a separate basis, it posted revenue of 52.3 billion won and operating profit of 4.9 billion won. On a consolidated basis, revenue rose 1.9 billion won, or 3.3 percent, from a year earlier and operating profit increased 900 million won, or 84.4 percent. On a separate financial statement basis, revenue rose 1.5 billion won, or 2.9 percent, and operating profit increased 2.0 billion won, or 70.6 percent.
It said revenue and operating profit both rose in the first quarter as it maintained a steady growth trend across its major businesses and continued solid performance based on product competitiveness and its customer base. It said rising overseas sales centred on its Saudi Arabia joint venture Rakeen had a positive effect on results.
