KB Kookmin Bank said on April 27 it will provide a free artificial intelligence-based cognitive ability test service for senior customers.

The service uses AlzWIN, developed by Sevenpointone, and will be offered to the first 1,000 people.

Eligible customers are those aged 55 or older who use related products such as dementia trusts or receive inheritance consultations including will-substitute trusts. They can apply at branches nationwide.

AlzWIN is a cognitive test solution that measures brain health age and brain energy levels through about 1 minute of voice analysis. Users take the test via a QR code on a smartphone and can check results immediately. The results can be used to assess an individual's cognitive condition and to draw up asset management plans.

KB Kookmin Bank is expanding related services through KB Golden Life, its senior-focused brand. It currently operates 18 centres nationwide.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We hope KB Golden Life's differentiated non-financial benefits will help senior customers manage not only their financial assets but also their health and overall later-life living." The official added, "We will continue to introduce a range of services as a reliable partner for customers in later life."
