Application security company Sparrow takes part in Black Hat Asia, an Asia-Pacific security conference held at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore from April 21 to 24. It presents measures to build a software supply chain security management framework to respond to security threats in the AI era.

At Black Hat Asia, Sparrow shares ways to integrate analysis and management on a single platform of vulnerabilities that could arise throughout the software development process. It also shares measures to build a supply chain security ecosystem through SBOM integrity verification and secure sharing.

It also runs a standalone booth and demonstrates its integrated application security testing solution, Sparrow Enterprise, and its SBOM sharing and management platform, Sparrow SecureHub.

Jang Il-soo (장일수), chief executive of Sparrow, said an integrated security framework that embeds security throughout the development process is emerging as a key topic in Asian markets, beyond simple vulnerability analysis. He said Sparrow will accelerate market expansion by quickly responding to security regulations in Asian countries based on accumulated success cases and experience, while actively supporting efforts to establish a practical software supply chain security environment through continued technological advancement.
