KB Kookmin Bank said on the 28th that it signed a cooperation deal with DHL Korea on the 25th to create synergies in financial and logistics services.

Han Ji-heon, chief executive of DHL Korea, Song Yong-hoon, deputy president of KB Kookmin Bank’s Corporate Customer Group, and officials from both companies attended the signing ceremony at the bank’s new building in Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul. The two companies plan various joint initiatives to support importers and exporters by combining their expertise in finance and logistics.

They plan to run logistics seminars and financial education programmes for customers unfamiliar with trade procedures. They also plan to offer specialised services providing continuous benefits to make the overall export and import process easier for customers.

A KB Kookmin Bank official said the bank hopes the deal will strengthen the global business competitiveness of trade customers and said the two companies will continue to expand customer‑focused financial and logistics services through ongoing cooperation.
