Post Office Shopping is holding an event offering up to 52 percent off popular gift items and regional specialties nationwide to mark May, Family Month.

The Postal Service under the Ministry of Science and ICT will hold the "2026 Family Month Gift Fair" on Post Office Shopping from April 27 to May 25.

It will offer premium abalone, which is in high demand for Family Month gifts, at discounts of up to 52 percent. Apple and pear gift sets will also be discounted by 44 percent. Customers can also buy 1++ grade Korean beef at 30 percent off.

Post Office Shopping will provide first-come, first-served coupons to all customers every Monday and Thursday. It will issue additional coupons to customers who take part in mobile attendance checks. A dedicated 12 percent discount coupon will be applied to selected regional specialties each week.

It will also offer discounts on Post Office Shopping online gift certificates. Customers can buy 50,000 won and 100,000 won certificates at 3 percent off, and a 350,000 won certificate at 5 percent off.

Postal Service chief Park In-hwan (박인환) said, "We have prepared this event so you can comfortably get ready for May, when there are many occasions to express your feelings." He added, "I hope you have a meaningful Family Month with Post Office Shopping."
