SK Broadband said on Thursday its employees carried out volunteer activities around Dorimcheon in Seoul's Dongjak district.
About 40 employees, including CEO Kim Sung-soo (김성수), collected litter along the river between Sindaebang Station and Guro Digital Complex Station and removed invasive harmful plants such as bur cucumber and Japanese hop.
Kim said Dorimcheon is a valuable place for residents to relax and that he hoped the activity would provide practical help in creating a pleasant waterfront environment and preserving the ecosystem. He said the company would continue volunteer work that coexists with local communities and fulfills its environmental responsibilities.
