Korea Credit Data said on Tuesday it launched a store transaction service, 'Cashnote Store Transactions.'

Existing store transactions have faced persistent information asymmetry because it was difficult to check key operating information such as sales, number of regular customers and cost structures. The company plans to address this by using business site data accumulated in Cashnote.

The service allows store information to be registered based on operating indicators such as actual sales and reviews, widening the range of data available for reference in transactions.

Users can view listings by setting conditions such as region and sector and receive recommendations of stores that match their interests.

Business owners with no plans to sell their stores can also register store information to check user interest and refer to market reactions.

With the introduction of the service, Cashnote will provide store transaction functions in addition to its existing store management features.

An Tae-hoon (안태훈), head of product at Korea Credit Data, said, "There were aspects in which access to information was limited in the store transaction process." He added, "We will improve the transaction environment based on data."
