KB Kookmin Bank launched the return-migration-focused "KB Prime Companion Homecoming Service" to provide one-stop support across the entire process to help overseas Koreans settle stably as inflows into South Korea increase.

The service was designed to reflect growing demand among overseas Koreans to return to South Korea and restructure assets, driven by changes in the global asset market environment and expanded preference for domestic education and living infrastructure. It integrates administrative, tax, real estate, legal and wealth management services, considering that return-migration customers have complex needs including asset transfers, tax and legal issues and settling into daily life beyond a simple change of residence.

As the first offering in the "Companion Series" for WM customers, it provides tailored services covering the full return-migration process. These include support for administrative procedures such as restoring nationality, transfers of overseas assets and reconstruction of financial portfolios, and tax-saving and gifting consulting.

With the launch, the bank also opened a dedicated return-migration desk, the "KB Homecoming Desk", at the Myeongdong Asset Management Advisory Center. In South Korea, customers can apply for consultations through nearby branches, and in the United States they can consult through partner firm Koriny, which operates branches in 16 states.

The bank plans to expand eligible customers and the service scope by linking the offering with group-level programs including KB Financial Group's "KB WM Star Advisory Group", the family-based wealth management service "Family Office", and the senior-focused service "KB Golden Life".
