Cafe24 said on Monday it has linked its platform with Hyundai Department Store's curated mall The Hyundai Hi. Online businesses using the Cafe24 platform can list their products on The Hyundai Hi and effectively expand premium sales channels.

The Hyundai Hi is a premium curation mall that Hyundai Department Store officially launched this month after integrating its existing online mall The Hyundai.com and food mall Hyundai Food Hall To Home.

Lifestyle content selected by professional editors is placed at the very top of the main screen instead of special-price products or promotional events. It features specialty sections by category, including fashion, household goods, food and beauty, gathered into a single platform. The structure allows consumers to freely explore areas of interest as if walking around a department store. About 3,000 Hyundai Department Store brands are currently listed.

Online businesses using the Cafe24 platform can request a listing review for The Hyundai Hi through the 'Market Plus' feature on the admin page. Once the request is approved, they can connect the platforms and start selling immediately. They can also handle The Hyundai Hi product registration, order checks and inventory management from Cafe24's shopping mall admin page without a separate management page. Product information and inventory for D2C shopping malls and The Hyundai Hi are linked in real time, which can improve business efficiency.

With the link, online businesses can run their D2C shopping malls while also listing products on a premium channel, making it easier to secure touchpoints with new consumer groups. Because the selling environment verifies brand value through experts, it is expected to effectively increase sales and brand awareness.

Cafe24 plans to link the The Hyundai Hi channel to its premium Cafe24 Pro service as well. It plans to support merchants so they can focus on running D2C brands by having the system connect products to external channels on their behalf and optimize exposure by market.

Cafe24 CEO Jae-seok Lee (이재석) said, "By linking our platform with The Hyundai Hi channel, which consolidates Hyundai Department Store's distribution capabilities, we created an environment where Cafe24-based brands can meet new customers on a premium channel." He added, "We will continue to strengthen cooperation with The Hyundai Hi to support online businesses so they can grow their businesses while enhancing the value of their brands."
