Douzone Bizon said on Sunday it will hold the 'Douzone Makerthon 2026 with Replit' on May 7 at Douzone Eulji Tower ATEC in Jung-gu, Seoul.
The event uses a vibe-coding environment to complete a practical project in one day, from planning to development and presentation. It is designed to let participants implement ideas into software through Replit's AI-based development environment even without technical background knowledge.
The programme includes an AI lecture, idea expansion, a Replit tutorial and introduction to vibe coding, 4 hours of intensive development, and presentations and awards. It also supports on-site team building so individual participants can collaborate with others.
All participants will receive Replit credits needed for development, lunch, a group outfit and souvenirs. The awards are also substantial. The first-place team will receive gift certificates worth 1,000,000 won and a 1-year Replit Pro pass worth $1,200. Gift certificates and Replit credits will also be awarded to the second- and third-place teams on a differentiated basis. Total benefits amount to gift certificates worth 5,800,000 won and more than $6,000 in development credits.
Anyone with a Replit account, including students, office workers and startup planners, can apply for free. The event is limited to the first 50 applicants. Applications are accepted both from two-person teams and individuals.
A Douzone Bizon official said, "This Makerthon is a place to directly experience the changes of the AI era, in which coding becomes an intuitive act like writing or drawing," and added, "We will continue to spread an AX ecosystem where anyone can become a software creator and generate business value."
