Enterprise agentic AI startup Enhance said on Sunday it had secured a strategic investment from Naver Ventures, Naver's Silicon Valley corporate venture capital unit.

Enhance is building an "industry-specialised AI OS" based on ontology technology and provides services to about 30 global enterprise clients, including Samsung Electronics. It is currently carrying out on-site work in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Naver Ventures decided to invest after focusing on growth in the agentic AI market and the synergy when Enhance's technology combines with Naver's business ecosystem, it said. Enhance's AI agent has been recognised for its capabilities as an "AI colleague" that makes autonomous decisions and executes tasks in industrial settings, beyond being a simple support tool.

Enhance plans to use the investment to advance industry-specific agent models and speed up its push into global markets.

A Naver Ventures official said, "We expect Enhance's technological capabilities to create synergy in advancing the seller-friendly ecosystem that Naver has built."

Seung-hyun Lee (이승현), CEO of Enhance, said, "Our goal is for AI not to remain a simple tool but to establish itself as an 'AI colleague' that cooperates organically with humans." He added, "We will further advance ontology, multi-agent and CUA technologies to lead an automation revolution across all industrial sites."
